I think I will update you on my eharmony experience -- I am being matched with lots of quality, attractive people within a relatively close distance (30 miles). Last time you were really furious? About what?yesterday, my school is having enrollment issues and my administration decided to move me to another grade. I was not given a choice and i did not want to do it. I've aready been switched around to help them out last year. I feel taken advantage of and i no longer trust my boss. It hurts and i'm very angry about it still.

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry to hear that. :X What would annoy me the most is that you're so experienced with teaching the material for 2nd grade that you really already know what to do and don't have to invest much time in that regard. I would be rather upset, as well. :X

I also cleaned today. I am sometimes shocked at how much dirt a vacuum picks up...

when i was a freshman in highschool, I went to a Halloween party as a beatnik and i was wearing a black turtle neck and black pants and a black beret. But i lost my bongo drums at the party or they got torn up (they were old oatmeal cans ). Anyways my friends and i were going trick or treating later and i thought no one would get the beatnik thing w/o the bongo drums we stopped at K-mart and i got black cat ears and a tail and then i drew whiskers on my face.

Well i have to move all 2nd grade books and school materials out of my room and bring in all the 1st grade materials. The kids are at a completely different level- most of them can't read or write at the begining of the year where as my 2nd graders were. I've never taught 1st grade before. I have to learn to teach their Reading series and learn their Math series. It's a lot of work and it's a lot of pressure to put on someone. It ticks me off that the admin. cornered me and coerced me into this instead of sitting down with the entire 2nd grade team and letting us say who would go. It should have been the new teacher to our school.

Why are there so many more 1st graders than 2nd graders? Why wasn't this all worked out before the start of the year?
