For someone who doesn't believe in God this sounds really strange coming from you.It might, though string theory is too speculative for my taste. That said, it's the best we've got at understanding what's going on out there.
Which method is more accurate in keeping time: Cesium Atom or Pulsar?
Yup --- thanks for the answer.ETA: I'm assuming this is an actual physics question...
1. What big-screen superstar played a male, but was actually a female?
2. What big-screen superstar played a female, but was actually a male?
3. What two U.S. states comprise the northern, southern, eastern, and westernmost states?
(Only two states cover all four points!)
For all their roles, but they were the same character in each film. Are we talking for all of their roles or just for one film? I'm sure there has to be more than one answer to those questions.
Um ... no.The Dakotas?
Ok, clueless Brit tiem, but isn't Albuquerque in New Mexico? Therefore you can't take a photo of a man with a wooden leg in Albuquerque, TX as there's no such place?
Although AV's answer is correct also

YesIs the following a grammatically correct sentence?
"Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo."
Caesium, I'd imagine, though pulsars keep amazing time too.Which method is more accurate in keeping time: Cesium Atom or Pulsar?
I never said I believe it, just that it seems to be the most probable hypothesis. It's not that probable, mind. For someone who doesn't believe in God this sounds really strange coming from you.
I beg to differ. As I said to Doveaman, I never espoused a belief in string theory. Nonetheless, string theory has yet to be experimentally (or theoretically) refuted, and it does offer an explanation.I'm definitely going to have to disagree with you on that one. String theory began in the realm of particle physics where it seemed to fail rather miserably at predicting subatomic interactions. It was then applied on the macroscopic level to BB theory where it's usefulness has been debatable at best. String there is also predicted on the existence of many additional dimensions to spacetime, none of which have been shown to exist. It 'appears' that you apply a completely different empirical standard on scientific topics than you apply to the topic of God. What's up with that?

As for God, well, I'm disinclined to believe something which exactly zero evidence for it.
My standards are consistent, or, at least, they should be. I welcome anyone who points out that I'm genuinely holding a double-standard, but I don't appreciate being baited.
String theory relies upon the existence of *MULTIPLE* extra dimensions. What evidence is there that there are extra dimensions?
Define "evidence". I never heard a human being claim to have a relationship with a string before.
How many humans do you know that have a relationship with a photon?
One for sure. The fact I can "see" your post at all demonstrates that I have a physical relationship with photons.
And how are you defining Relationship?

I suppose I am defining it to mean that it must have some physical, tangible effect on me (or some human being).
The bottom line here is that there is a lot more evidence of God than for extra dimensions of space/time.
