I think this is an amazing thread for people with depression for many reasons. You are asking for our input, which means a lot for people who are depressed - that someone cares. You are compelling us to think about something else (positive, no less,) - which forces us to think beyond the depression. You are asking for artistic responses, which is one of the ways depressed people can express themselves in a positive way.

I like to draw and yes, I draw vent art sometimes.

I have seen your art on here before. I really like it. Someone even has your art as their signature.

when I read your story, it seems like there was no safe place for you. Thats awful and unfair and unkind. To me you were/are the precious and respected leader of the wolf pack as described above by @Jeshu

Thank you. I really appreciate it. My work is nowhere near as good as van Gogh's masterpieces but according to many on this site I really drive the message home in my drawings.

Agree! They really tell a deep journey of pain


What I portrayed was just the tip of the iceberg. Generally, I feel swindled out of a normal, healthy life because I lost the genetic lottery. I'm hoping that Heaven will make up for all the things I have missed out on.

The Holy Bible tells us we will have no more weeping, no more pain.

Maybe like Van Gogh, we are too beautiful for this world.


Yes, I have made signature pictures for two people on this site. I even got requests from users to make art. One was even willing to pay me a $20 Amazon gift card for a couple drawings. I turned down the payment and made the drawing anyways. God gave me this small talent and I'm going to use it to bring others joy.

It's really nice to experience that kind of attention for my work.

Can you describe what you feel or sense when you look upon this art?

Why is it important to you?

It seems as if the lamb is looking to the stronger lion, while the lion is looking to the Lord. It gives me a feeling of "is it time"? The lamb is feeling the lion the lion is feeling the Lord and they seem to be looking for His time drawing near. They all work in perfect unity together.

Kinda like when your dogs need to go outside for potty and they just look at ya like, hey mom is it time to go?
