Art Help...

Our detective division is moving into a new building. I need some new art for my new office. So, I figured I'd get some input from y'all since I can't decide between these two icons:

A) Our Lady of Perpetual Help

B) Byzantine Crucifix

I'm leaning towards the crucifix but when I go to check out, I think, "I'm not sure" so I reckoned I ask everyone here what they thought.

I'd go with the Byzantine Crucifix, but Our Lady of Perpetual Help looks very nice too. Are you a detective?

For an office or workspace I would pick the "Our Lady" icon.

If it were me, I'd try to snag onto both of them. But, if I had to choose, I'd pick the crucifix (I've already got an Our Lady of Perpetual Help!).....

I really do think you and my hubby may have been separated at birth. His 'team' is even red and white...but it's a bulldog instead of a pig. Just as ugly, but nowhere near as tasty.

They are both so beautiful... I wonder if I would get ousted for having an icon in my office? I voted for the cross, only because I already have the Our Lady icon. But like I said, they are both so beautiful.

Well, since you have asked for my help (Art is my name, you know), let me tell you that I am partial to the Byz crucifix, since we have one hanging in our house.

There you go.

(My brother-in-law is also a detective, for the Sheriffs department.)

I like both of them. Although, I am partial to Our Lady. Then again, if you can, you should have both.

Did he by any chance go to school there? I have a friend who graduated from there in the early to mid 90s.....

Nope. That's just home loyalty, I guess. He was in the Marines from 85 to 89, which worked out really well that his tour was up just a couple months before I graduated from highschool.

I like Byzantine Crosses over Our Lady of Perpetual help. One warning though, do NOT buy from Monastary Icons. They are not Orthodox, they are not Christian! They are neo-gnostic pagans! You can read about them in this thread. They are not a good group to do business with!
