Thank you...i only found out about all of this quite by accident, a couple of months ago, and these brave ones won my heart. I pray for all Christians there, all who are being persecuted and tortured, and killed, and these brave ones, fighting so valiantly against ISIS.

The greater challenge will be living DOWN to my expectations!
All I need to be able to say is: "Hello Meena, how are you?"
And then, no matter what he says back in Arabic, to say:
"Yes, it is good to hear your voice."
And THEN to revert to my KJV 1611 Anglais!

Formal: Marhaba Meena, kaif haalek? While in Derija (unofficial) it would be: Marhaba Meena, wosh raak.

I don't know how to say nice to hear your voice, but you could say that you are pleased to hear his voice which goes if I remember right, Naam, Innii raadhi an nasmaa sawtek, not sure tho . Never really used it before
