  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Arrested Development cancelled.

Fox annouced that the show will be cut down to 13 episodes this season and that it will not be airing in it's Monday timeslot for the remainder of fall sweeps. The remaining episodes will begin airing December 5th. After that, the outlook doesn't look good.

This is the worst.

The best show on television is no more.

The thing that makes it all worse is that the show just came back on there air.

Fox took it off for a month because of baseball, said it would be back on October 31 (which it wasn't), then aired it at the same time as one of the biggest football games of the year. And then, when the ratings aren't great, they cancel it.

This is such a stupid, short-sighted decision on their part.

They've been itching to cancel it since last season. It only got a reprieve this year because it won an Emmy, but FOX never had their heart in the show. They didn't give it a fair chance, but I'm still hoping that things pick up when they air the remaining episodes. Maybe another Emmy nomination (if it sticks around long enough to get one) will make a difference. I have very little hope, though.
