CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I use to live near Siloam Springs, AR, I love the area around there! We actually lived in NW Oklahoma in a tiny town called Watts, I think it was about 6 miles from Siloam Springs.

I was in Elm Springs (near S'dale) for 6 months. I was in the "winter" '96 DTS class at the YWAM (Youth With A Mission) base. Incidentally, that very YWAM base was started by the parents of Christian music artist Twila Paris; I've met her whole family, except for kids and nieces/nephews. Jack and Twila live in Fayetteville, last I knew.

What a small world! I am originally from central Arkansas. A little town called Magazine which is at the foot of Magazine Mountain(the state high point). I am now on staff at the former YWAM base in Elm Springs which is now a Bible college called Ecclesia College. Right outside of Springdale! I am on staff with someone who was also my classmate but he is from Westville, OK which is close to Watts. I just got back from being on tour with Twila for 2 months! So am I just about connected to all of you or what!!! This is so cool! God bless!!!

Well, on monday nights I go to a college bible study at Christian Life Cathedral in Fayetteville. That is incredible, but I don't know how old you are. Another factor is what kind of church you want to go to. Assembly of God, Methodist, Baptist, non-denom... I visit a lot of churches so I could help you out there.
