That is the real one. That is the one I think was taken up when Jesus was killed. That is the one that I don't believe will be in the new Jewish temple, should any claim they found it somewhere.

Brother, the real one is the one from which Moses made a copy. Better get out your Bible and do some studying. Start in the book of Hebrews. Then try Exodus 25 and on.

So, God showed Moses some things on the mountains, gave him some directions. Great. Nothing to do with saying an ark of the covenant existed in heaven at that time. It was made for men. It is us the covenant is with. Nice try.

Yes, He showed Noah how to build the ark as well. Do you think there is a big boat sitting in heaven as well?? Let's not get silly.

Patterns are good. Yes. Now, about your claim there was some ark of the testament in heaven that is the real one? Where might we find that? That was built for man. The real ark contained real things, like the commandments. Are you suggesting that the things in it like the rod were fakes? That the real rod of Aaron was in heaven? No, that is ridiculous when we think about it. THE real ark of the covenant I mean is the one that was in the temple. The one with the rod, manna, etc inside of it. The one that represented God with us. When Jesus came, He was God with us, our Emanuel. He was now the connection, the link, the veil, the door, the way, the light. The holy of holies was ripped by God when they killed His son! There is a message in there.
If the ark were taken away, it would be in keeping with that message, and I am convinved it was in there, despite the lack of history passed down from those who had Him killed!
The message, for all to see, was 'God is not with you any more! He is gone from your temple!' God was now with us, those who believe in the savior. WE, the children of the promise. WE, the heirs of the promises to His people, which had been Israel. WE are the children of Abraham by faith in Jesus, there are no others. The Jews are only physically related, not heirs of the promises to Abramam to his children, that is what we are heirs of! That is the point.
Any ark in heaven is not relevant, as it was not the real ark of the bible on earth we all know about. That is now in heaven. There is no way in this universe that He would allow the actiual ark to be in a temple representing His presence with that people. Absolutely impossible. That is why I pointed out, if one ever should be claimed to be 'found' it is not the real ark, brother.

I don't think there are two. The other poster made the point many things here are patterned after heavenly things. This is of course true. But this does not mean that the ark we know as the ark of the covenant was not real. It was. It had the things in it the ark had. It is in heaven now, If any ark is so called found, it is a copy, a replica, not the real ark that was in the holy of holies area.
Some try to explain it all away by a claim there is this strange arl in heaven, OTHER that the ark that was taken up from the temple when Jesus died. The same ark that was in the temple of Solomon before that. But history records of the Jews have strangely enough no record of the ark even being in the tempple in Jesus' day. I say it is because the real ark was taken to heaven when Jesus died, and the veil of the temple (which was where the ark in Solomon's temple was kept) was rent in two by God, or His angel.

I think they cleaned up all records of the ark to cover that up. They were known to be of such character. They bribed people to pretend Jesus never rose from the dead for example. Those were the people who had Jesus killed. These were the ones in charge of the records, or able to change them. Do we see any Jewish records of the time of the veil of the temple being ripped open? No. But it happened. When men there looked in, they saw it was now empty. That was covered up, and the records changed.
There is no other ark mentioned in the bible. There just needs to be one to explain why the bible says it is in heaven, for some people's doctrines!
