Arguments for an old Earth...

Today remains the 6th Day UNLESS someone can tell us WHEN in the past mankind had dominion or rule over viruses, mosquitoes or Angels? Gen 1:28...AND... as Gen 1:30 states, WHEN in the past has EVERY living creature been changed into vegetarians. Gen 1:30 No one can since we live today on the Day of Salvation, the 6th Day/Age, the last Day and the events above will not happen until AFTER Jesus returns in the FUTURE.

The present 6th Day/Age in the creation of the perfect Heaven began when the Lord made the beasts of the field and birds from the dust of the ground, and Adam named them. Gen 2:19 The present 6th Day will NOT end until AFTER our Cosmos is burned 2Pet:3:10 and death is destroyed. 1Co 15:26 Since the Lord made birds and beasts millions of years ago, it should be obvious that a Day to God is Billions of years in man's time. Yet, the genealogy of Jesus Christ can be traced back from Mary's line all the way to Adam in Luke chapter 3. Adam is said to be the one who brought sin and death into this world. Evening and a morning following the word "day" is also a pretty good indication that God made the universe in 6 literal 24 hour days, too. The Earth is young and not old. There are many evidences in addition to Scripture that tells us this. The world believes the Earth is old and not young.

What I find confusing about that is that women's lineages were never tracked to begin with back then.

IMO ~ The Word of God trumps anything what man made history says.
If man made history happens to line up with what God's Word says then that is great.
But if man's recorded histroy conflicts with God's Word, it should be discarded like a piece of trash. For let God be true, even if everyone was a liar (Romans 3:4).

Amen. ALL Humans can be traced to Adam since Adam was FIRST made, before plants herbs rain and trees. Gen 2:4-9

Just as we have inherited Adam's intelligence, which is like God's, Gen 3:22 we have also inherited death which is passed to all MEN. I capitalized men to show that Humans are not the SAME as the creatures made from the water on the 5th Day. Gen 1:21 Humans are a Special Creation, formed by the Hands of Jesus, with a mind like God's, and we are destined to become the rulers of the world. Gen 1:28 Animals from water cannot and will NEVER inherit God's superior intelligence. It's the difference between God's children and animals.

Which universe? On the 2nd Day God made Adam's universe. Gen 1:8
On the 3rd Day Lord God/Jesus made at least two more universes. Gen 2:4
Evening and morning are the end and the beginning of one of God's Days or periods of labor. (Heb-Yowm) God has but 6 Days of labor and 1 Day of rest and the 7th Day, the Day of rest, is Eternity.

The world of today knows that our Earth is old. There are cities older than the flawed dating of ancient theologians and Archbishop James Ussher of Armaugh, Ireland in 1650. Most of the religious problems of the world are caused by following the ancient superstitious views of men who lived thousands of years before education. I seek to find God's Truth, which agrees in every way, with every discovery of mankind and I've found it in Genesis chapter One. It's proof of God, and shows that God hid His Truth in the future discoveries of Science, in the last days, just before Jesus returns. God Bless you
