So we are opening up a new ministry at our church. It is a Childrens outreach ministry in the form of a childcare centre.

Anyway - we are registering now. I am checking the messages roght now as our secretary is away and what do I hear??

A prank call;

"Hi, I am calling about your Christian Childcare Centre. There may be a problem though...can you tell me if you accept wiccan or satanist children? Call me back at 911."

ugh - some people. Kinda puts a downer on the excitment of it opening.

On a side note - could those of you who pray pelase pray for this ministry? We need an increase in registrations and I know God is able - afterall - it is Hid ministry. But can you please pray a blessing over it. Thanks

Congratulations. Starting early with children, teaching them the precepts of a God centered foundation is the key to creating sound Christians. May the blessings of God be with you as you endeavor to take on this extremely important task.

I understand. The non-believing world sees the influence of God's contenance as a light upon his iniquity and so seeks to disrupt and discredit. Look to the Lord for your guidance, for He alone is the Rock upon which you faith and godliness rests.

Anyway, I wouldn't worry about prank callers. They're pretty much harmless. But I will certainly keep you and your ministry in my prayers. I hope you don't let this get you down.

You know, I kinda look at things like that as a way that shows you're on the right path.

We have had witches and/or wiccans come and interrupt our services and put/perform/cast spells or whatever they think they are doing, during our worship services. Causes all of us to pray more -- and that's never a bad thing! Plus gives the ushers a little exercise, if you know what I mean!

I'll pray for the ministry.

Yeah... an old friend of mine who was Wiccan told me about how she wiped the ashes from her forehead in the priest's face during an Ash Wednesday service at her mother's church. As though that were supposed to accomplish anything.
