CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I think it matters less the older you get. It depends on like... stages of life rather than the number.

Does age really matter in a relationship? My heart is breaking...
My parents are 12 years apart. Right now he is 80 and she is 68. They have been married 36 wonderful years this month.
I would say age can get in the way in the kind of situation where one is 18 and the other 30. Obviously there is a huge maturity gap not just an age gap. (Unless of course youre a very mature 18)

I agree with those who say it matters less as you grow in maturity. It mattered to me. But I was the scenario above where I was 18 and he was 35.
It seems like the 1/2 your age +7 seems to average out well as to figuring an acceptable gap.

Age can be an issue, although, I've dated a couple of gals who were younger then I was.
