Isn't it interesting that according to this test, most of us are closer to the Lutherans than we are to the Catholics. Actually, in my real life, I find this to be true as well. Just about the only things my Lutheran friends disagree with are the icons, whereas Catholics want to argue (politely) about the Pope, who's church is older, married priests, etc.

Hi, I am new to the board, and a relatively recent convert (2002). To my great relief <g> my first match was Eastern Orthodox, followed by Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, Evangelical Lutheran, and Roman Catholic Church. The Methodist Church, which I was raised in, was sixth on the list. Very interesting!

When I started taking this test a couple years ago, it kept coming up EO and RC as the top two....I was shocked to see that my Baptist "roots" were actually down the list about #20....
Although I think this test is fatally flawed because some of the questions are a little vague, I do think it was helpful to me in my research...gave me a place to start !

Yikes, I came up with Evangelical Lutheran church as 1 and EO as 2. The scary thing is that the ELCA is a very liberal and progressive church and after investigating them I eliminated them as a possiblity.

I've done about 5 or 6 of these quizes already and it is always Orthodoxy #1, and usually Roman Catholicism #2 or #3. I'll post my results for this ASAP.
