  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I already knew what this was about so I thought cabbage. "Six" sounds similar to "sex" so it's suppposed to make you think of carrot as a phallic symbol.

The problem with this experiment is that there are other explanations, such as "carrot" is simply a very common vegetable that people think of normally. To remove this confounding factor, they need to repeat this experiment with another number, like "Seven" and see if the results still hold.

Ok, too many psych classes for me. :p

I said cucumber . . . lol Larry the cucumber from veggie tales was the first thing that popped into my mind
Cucumbers also count. In some versions of this test, they say that you're thinking of either a carrot or a cucumber.

I love that "But, I don't want to be normal" comment. I can relate. They call me the white sheep of the family. My family is like the Munsters and I'm the neice. Oh well...so much for being special.

I thought of carrots too...even though I don't especially like eating carrots.
