Hi everyone. I just thought I'd create this poll to see who among us who is a United Church of Christ Christian is for women's ordination and who is against it. Please only vote in the poll if you attend a United Church of Christ church or are a member of one.

Yes, but it is an issue for many denominations.

Does the fact that all the disciples were men mean anything? I'm not looking it up right now, but does it refer in the selection of elders and deacons as to men?

I fully support women as ordained clergy. There is no reason whatsoever biblically or secularly to refuse them the same rights as men.

The denomination that I'm in (Fellowship Baptist) does not allow women to be ordained. This is something which I, and perhaps a few others, would like to see changed. (Since I'm not UCC I didn't vote in the poll).

I find it so strange that many denoms still refuse women the rigth to be ordained. In Galatians we read that in Christ there is neither "male nor female". Hopefully the spread of progessivism will keep on truckin!!
