Also, ... this is no joke, I think - as long as you exclude the part in Twilight where the werewolf guy falls in love with a baby - that The Notebook is also a worse love story than Twilight. Oh, yeah, I'm goin' there.

You know, I have always wondered a little about that.

I have heard both sides of the issue. That either God has someone destined for everybody (and it is up to you to take it or leave it) except the folks He destines to be single, or that everyone is completely free to marry whom they will.

... I think it could be a mix of both, really, or a balance between the two extremes somehow. That God may have someone specifically planned for a few people and will guide them to each other no matter what, or that He simply knows ahead of time who it will be and will bless it so long as you two truly endeavor to love one another selflessly. I know we've been getting off-topic, but since you mentioned it, Fire Girl, I wanted to give my thoughts on that.

Totally agree because i think sitting about waiting for someone to knock on your door isn't going to happen.

But like even in Toro and Swan case, even being in different countries hasn't stopped God........
