On another forum I once went to, long long ago, I went years without showing my appearance. People developed a mental image in their head of what I looked like. Then when they finally saw, let's just say their head was cocked to one side.

Very good point Raphael. This is why I have never tried to hide myself. If you have me on Skype, you saw my picture, years ago.

Thank you. I got tired of it being short (too much work keeping it styled and looking nice). Long hair for me is just easy for my low maintenance self.

It doesn't work on my computer but it is working a bit on my phone. I've tried a variety of photos and range between 7 and 7.8

my opinion of attractiveness seems to be off. I plugged in a picture of me with a horrible haircut and it scored better than I expected. (7 instead of 2 or 3

edit: ooo, got a 7.9

edit: it's not very accurate, lol. I plugged in some ugly pictures from the internet and they got 9s etc. so either it isn't accurate or 5 is not the mean lol. maybe 9 is

edit: Donald Trump got a 4. so at least I am better looking than Donald Trump lol

update: Yeah I would agree that it fails. while it did give Donald Trump a 4 and a girl I consider to be very beautiful a 9.7... in general it just seems like it is picking random numbers. I took some hideous photos of myself. Not making faces or anything, just pictures where I am not photogenic... and it is rating them pretty high.
whereas other photos of me where I feel I look more photogenic are scoring low (as low as 5)
Unless I just don't know.

one of my "ugly" photos got an 8...

To get the max accuracy out of it (the site didn't mention this). Use only pictures where the face is looking straight into the camera and head not tilted. Remove your glasses or anything that obscures the face and no making faces! Haircut is not evaluated...unless the hair is obscuring the face. I assumed a limited database so a proper picture would help.

I actually get fairly consistent results with proper pictures and age estimation is pretty good...Way better than Microsoft's version.

There's another "good" app (probably the best IMO) to rate attractiveness, pinkmirror.com. But it's also biased towards male/female white Caucasian and female Asian looks. I posted a raw picture of mine in there. If I specify male, I get between 8 and 9 (which is very attractive according to the site but I if I post any white male Caucasian (I actually tried some of your pictures here), they often get close to 9! If I use the same raw male picture of mine and specify female, it goes beyond 9 which is "super beautiful"

Seems to be accurate. Only frustrating due to racial bias and also gender bias (for Asians).

The name of the app is "youcam". It's diabolical what a "simple make up" can do My relatively feminine skull and bone structure made it easy I think.

What's more weird is I somehow find the touched up picture quite attractive. I look like a more attractive version of my mom when she was at my age.

You may need to shave your beard, I think the online app needs to see your chin. Many facial recognition apps do.
