An oldie but a beloved of mine, taken three years ago after my near death experience. This was shortly after I had recovered. I always keep this as a reminder of how healthy I looked then, compared to what I am now, and just how much God had saved me. These little reminders are always so important.

I did this with the manager's blessing and encouragement. He recognized me from my hand walking / acro shenanigans and said he'd give me free coffee and whatever else I wanted if I did one there.

I'd recommend the water fountain in Ueno Park Tokyo. I watched a Tai Chi class going through their routine on the ledge of the fountain. Really impressive stuff, I have videos on my phone.

There and Shinjuku at night. Just ensure that you're not alone, or else you'll be trafficked.

Also, Venice would be a good shout if you haven't already.

I disagree. People see Grand Canyon and assume any exposure is a fall of hundreds of feet. Save for a few lookout points that is not the case and a close look at the picture shows the only direction of possible exposure is if she continues like a walkover. That most likely would lead to a steep slope (not a sheer drop) on the sandstone and a really nasty case of road rash.

It's been a joy to share them with you all. I have more, but hadn't wanted to bombard the thread, haha. Thank you for the and for not thinking I'm a freakadoodle for preferring to walk on my hands than my feet, hahaha. I am fortunate to have traveled so much. My maternal grandpa was in the military and tried to make the best of the many moves the family made with enjoyable travel adventures, so my mom became a wanderlust at an early age and made me into one as well. Plus, we have family and friends in Europe, so it makes visiting there often important.

This was tricky because we were paddle boating down the Vltava River in Prague, and the surface was slippery!

Ah yes! You're just on the fringe of the West End near Victoria Embankment. I have a lot of whisky pals or 'malt mates' in that area. I'm pretty much there every other Saturday. I walk Victoria Embankment or Westminster Bridge to get in to Soho, just to avoid the underground (the underground is a bit unnecessary unless you're leaving zone 1-2)

There's a copycat version of the eye in Brighton. It's not the same or nearly as impressive. I don't know why they built it to be honest.

When you come back to the UK, The Spinikar Tower in Portsmouth and the front of Brighon Pier are two musts for you. Brighton Pier especially - particularly at night when it's lit up.

Portsmouth also has a large outlet shopping centre right on the harbour. There's huge bargains to be had.
