Are you a slow or fast writer?

Do words just flow or do you have to take time and think about every event you write about? Are you a slow writer or a fast one?

It depends on my mood, where I am, adn wetehr or not I've thought the scene out beforehand.

Both. I always write what comes to mind, and that flows very smoothly. Then I go back later and correct it. That's where I change certain words and correct discrepancies. But on a whole, I would have to say I'm a fast one.

i've the ideas that they all seems to stick in my head, refusing to come out as words.

I guess I'm a little of both. Sometimes the words just flow, and I can just start the scene and let it see where it takes me. But other times I'm not sure where to go next, and then the writing gets quite a bit slower. I also notice that for some reason, I do better when I'm writing on the computer. I guess since it's easier that way, my ideas have an easier time flowing onto the page.

Most the time I am a fast writer. When I type, it flows. It flows really well, and once I have an idea, I can't stop until i'm satisfied. It's writing in longhand that sometimes has me stumbling.

Depends on what how fast is fast and how slow is slow. Most times I'll debate the wording mentally and whatnot, and construct whole sentences or maybe paragraphs in my head and start writing it and more adjectives and whatnot spurt out and my hand usually can't keep up with my brain. And then I'll get to the end of my thought and have to think of what's coming next, or maybe adjust words.

I find it funny that I followed this rubric as I wrote this post.

it depends on what i'm writing and whether or not i'm enjoying what i'm writing at the time. i can write a 50,000 word story in a little over two months and then start another one right after it that's just as long and then other times i can write a 30,000 word story in a matter of weeks. it depends whether or not i know what i want to happen.

For me..I have tons of ideas all the time and Im always writing things down..its jus that I have the ideas for the middle of the story and I cant seem to START a story, the first sentences are the hardest for me, but if I find JUST the right ones then I flow like crazy!

i'm usually a fast writer. i like to write down thoughts that flood my mind. although when i write my term papers, it's always hard to start and to end... i guess it's because i have too many ideas that cannot be put together... but anyway. and the problem with ending: it always seems like the ending i like was already used by someone else so i struggle to create my own...

Me it's funny how I write. Like I won't be able to sleep and it will be like 4 in the morning. Then I just get an idea and start writing for an hour and I already have like at least 1200 words. Well actually I never write when I don't have an idea, unless I have too.
