Offering the starving Bibles instead of food is a disgusting insult in my opinion, especially if they have their own religion!

They would want bibles more because "Man will not live on bread alone, but by EVERY word that proceeds out of the mouth of God."Tangnefedd said:He was right though. Because some of us do not have any other way to know what God has said and done. There are some traditional churches that reverence the Bible(this is not right), but it still has a profound place in teaching God's will to mankind.New_Wineskin said:It is quite understandable given that many Christians have been led to be book worshippers and bow down to wood adorned with ink . Christianity is about a relationship with the Lord - not with a set of books . The Lord called Abraham His friend and Abraham had not a lick of the Scriptures . Also , if these christians knew enough of the Scriptures to say such a thing , they should have known enough to get them by through memory . While I believe that such people exist , I have no idea why they have exchanged the glory of the Lord for paper .

I think it would be better to offer the bible with the meal if the bibles are wanted. (Bibles would go faster then the food)

Some of us want to hear his words and learn of him.

Are you saying that I can just hear voices in my head and call it Jesus?
If you are I would dis-agree.
Why do you supose Jesus quoted scripture so many times in his teachings?
OnEarth said:Hey,just a question. I am beginning to wake and pray at 6am, 12pm, and 12am. I am going to set aside a holy day to feast with God and give thanks to him. I feel the urge to be more involved in giving time to God in more ways than prayer and church. I feel that so many of us have time for the things that are not important. Such as our jobs, school, entertainment, etc. I mean mostly when we give our free time to these things and put in extra hours for them. I have been fasting and am now finishing up. Something God made VERY clear to me is that he is upset that we give less time to him because we occupy ourselves with the things he's blessed us with. God has asked me to stand like Jeremiah in this day and bring the attention to all of us. It is important that we begin to give him more time because we are becoming the holy that turn his fruit sour. I just ask that you all can help me make a movement for God and devote more time. Maybe some extra prayers, more conversations with him, giving more thanks, and asking him what he would like for us to do for him each day.
