True enough. And that fact works against the theory that we are about to go to war.

True -- Donald prefers to limit his conflicts to Twitter... and against his own citizens.

All kidding aside, Donald's never been one to commit to armed conflict... and he's less likely to start so close to the end of his term.

Let all the good, loyal, true Christians put on the armor of God and join the military so we can wage righteous crusade against the Godless infidels.
We'll call them Christianist Mujahideen :).

Seems better than bombing a country like Libya that wasn't hostile towards us or Serbia during a civil war there which didn't involve us.

He certainly doesn't have a history of starting wars.

True... under Donald's strategic command, the bases we've bombed the hardest have been our own.

Trump's hasty exit forced US troops to bomb their own base in 'an extreme worst-case scenario'

He certainly doesn't have a history of starting wars.

Which is a commendable thing -- as well as pragmatic. It'd be difficult for our soldiers to properly aim while they're running away.

And from Iran's perspective, the U.S. is a threat.

That threat they perceive keeps them in check. That's a good thing.

Look at pics and video of them back in the 70s and look how far they've fallen under Muslim rule.

Iran has been a Muslim country since the 7th century.

The threat we perceive does what, then?

As opposed to the Saudis, who have thrived under a Wahhabi Islam rule that makes Iran's Shia look like day 2 of Woodstock.

Perhaps economics plays a part as well?

You think the fact that the US staged a coup and replaced their democratically elected leader with a brutal but US-friendly puppet might have had something to do with that?

We did the same with Russia. We've been doing it for as long as I can remember. That's what our government does.

Sounds like thirty years of economic embargo have done a lot worse for them than Islamic rule.

We staged a coup in Russia and installed a pro-US puppet?
