I do not have the gift of prophecy. However, lately my spirit has been very restless. I have been in prayer asking the Lord to help give me a clear vision of what He is trying to tell me. I get this feeling that time is quickly running out. There are so many who still do not know Christ. I am very anxious about all the unsaved friends and relatives who continue to deny the truth. Does anyone else feel this way? Do you feel as though your losing your grip on earthly reality? The only reality left is what is in God's word. The world is calling evil good and good evil. Everything is so twisted. I go to church and people seem to be going along "business as usual" no worries. Am I the only one feeling this way? Please answer seriously. This is very disturbing to me.

The people of the world, who have so long been battered into submission and brainwashing by society are starting to awaken to spirit. This has escalated dramatically in the last few months and is ever increasing. I guess you could call this our preparation for coming into an age of new consciousness.

Certainly we are living in the most interesting times in history. But these times are certainly no walk in the park and yes you will probably feel very very restless now and this will also increase as you awaken to true spirit and shed your worldly conditioning.

I believe we are entering the times of the true tests of our faith, end times as some people call them but you could also look at it in a more positive light and call it "beginning times" because while it may be an end it is indeed the beginning of something new.

Peace to ALL

I'm so glad the Lord has stirred your soul...I feel the same way too. Time is running out. Just continue to get closer with God, and he will show you what he wants you to do. Pray for your friends and reletives, and in everything you do let it glorify God, so that they may see. But, don't let the devil make you almost depressed over it. We should have a Godly sorrow for them, and ernestly try to help them, but do not 'worry' over them. When we worry, we're not trusting in God...I hope that makes sense...
Yes, so many Christians do not see how close we are to Christ's return. I personally beleive I myself will be here during the Tribulation, but even for those who we beleive we'll be raptured before, they should know that it's so
soon and be doing everything they can to benifit the Kingdom of God.

Sadly many, are just living every day as if 'the end' or 'Tribulation' or 'Christ's Return' are but fiction. Yet, it seems that the World stage is being set up now for the AntiChrist to come in the not-to distant future. But, I beleive that as Evil in creases, so will God's power. I beleive in the last days revival that Joel talks about. God's raising up people to fight this great evil, giving Glory to his name. God has placed us here for such a time as this...so if we just continue to trust God and he'll show us his purpose, peace, power and protection :D

You know that's funny because I feel I will be in the tribulation also.

Deadbeat - I am restless also and very concerned about my happily tho unofficially heathen :D in-laws whom I love dearly!

I understand what you mean about feeling that you will be in the tribulation. I believe in the Rapture and look for Christ all the time, but I have had strange dreams of persecution during the tribulation. Hmmm!

I think the end that he was referring to was, the end of the age, before the age to come. The end of This Physical World, right before, or when Christ returns.
I sort-of agree vinsight4U of when roughly, the Tribulation will start...I'd say more-so, 2009-2018 tho, for verious reasons I shall not go into at this moment...but I do not beleive he will rule Iraq...look at the country now, seriously in just a few years how will it all of a sudden be the best most prosperus country in the World? Not saying it's impossible, just highly unprobbable.

It's amazing to look throughout history and see how every generation could look at the world's present condition and be absolutely positive the End would occur in their lifetimes.

"Consider the times and expect Him."; "The last times are upon us". (Ignatius, Bishop of Antioch 100ad.)

"We do indeed confess that a Kingdom is promised on earth". "The end of the world will come with the seventh persecution. The Goths will conquer Rome and redeem the Christians; but then Nero will appear as the heathen Antichrist, reconquer Rome, and rage against the Christians three years and a half. He will be conquered in turn by the Jewish and real Antichrist from the East, who, after the defeat of Nero and the burning of Rome, will return to Judea, perform false miracles, and be worshipped by the Jews. At last Christ appears, that is, God himself with the lost Twelve Tribes as his army, which had lived beyond Persia in happy simplicity and virtue. Under asounding phenomena of nature he will conquer Antichrist and his host, convert all nations, and take possession of the holy city of Jerusalem." (Tertullian 200ad.)

"There is no doubt that the Antichrist has already been born. Firmly established already in his early years, he will, after reaching maturity, achieve supreme power." (St. Martin of Tours 316-397ad.)

In Christ,

Acts6:5
