Jet Black said:I am less than impressed with your arrogance. do you have any concept of the sorts of qualifications some of the posters here have?
Aaron11 said:Whoa, you're right! That's an awesome point. I never thought a woman could bring out such a great point. I guess I was genuinely wrong. Thanks woman!
Aaron11 said:My mistake. I should have said logical entropy.
LorentzHA said:See even from your reply it tells a lot. Yes, you are GENUINELY wrong. You started going head to head with because of that fact with no respect for the fact that I am getting a Doctorate in Medicine!!
Aaron11 said:Maybe you should just argue from authority. That'd probably work.
Aaron11 said:Logical entropy suggests that things naturally break down instead of build up. Pretty simple.
Aaron11 said:Do your genes mutate? No.
Aaron11 said:Of course there are genetic mutations.
Karl - Liberal Backslider said:Yes. They do. That's one of the reasons organisms die. But as we know, they reproduce to get round this - this is what drives evolution.
I fight logical entropy throughout my life. I do it by gaining order at the expense of my environment by eating and breathing.
If you took the earth/sun system as a whole, you will find that the overall entropy has increased. Life temporarily succeeds in maintaining a localised increase in order, but at the expense of increased entropy in the earth/sun system as a whole, just like a bucket of water warming in the sun in my back yard will.
LorentzHA said:((Laughing)) Yeah, right nursing...
Aaron11 said:Don't you mean Nursing?
Aaron11 said:We are comparing apples and oranges here. I am not talking about the fact that I can not picture evolution, or I can not see every little detail. I am saying, given the existence of a single cell, evolution would not yeild life as we have it today.
That still leaves the huge problem of the first cell.
Jet Black said:could you tell me what your qualifications in chemistry, biochemistry, biology and physics are?
Aaron11 said:Well said. The problem I see with this and evolution is, if evolution is completely natural, then it wouldn't create something so complex.
do you actually have any understanding about what entropy is, and how to say, derive the law?Aaron11 said:Well said. The problem I see with this and evolution is, if evolution is completely natural, then it wouldn't create something so complex.
