  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

[You make very little spiritual sense here vance, perhaps you have neglected your spirituality in search of something else less incredulous to believe. The law of gravity is no substitute for the Word God so it would seem you believe not God but His creation - is that not what the pantheist also believe?]
hmm... crusader.. it seems you criticized him for not being spiritual. His statement says neither one way another whether he is "spiritual" or not; whether he is following God's will or not. It is a shame to take a shot below the belt on something that you don't even know. That is between him and God. He has an open mind at least, and what he does agree with is factual evidence that can be observed. This makes him no less a Christian. We cannot simply ignore the world around us. What is more logical to believe? Gathering evidence and taking an educated "guess" at how God created the world, or do you rather believe in something comparable to "magic," that everything "magically" appeared? I personally think the almighty creator was intelligent enough to have a logical process for creation.
