In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Thats weird.... I seem to have had my post count reduced as well.

I didn't think you were violating any forum rule. At least you are an denominational member discussing inter faith issues.

Are we not allowed to discuss EG White?? I could understand if they censured Pythons for his blatent discrediting campaign, but to obliterate an entire thread seems extreme. Would still like a mod or admin's take....

I am sure you are allowed to. However, there was some talk of reporting other folks, such as Pythons, etc. so maybe someone did and they found the thread to be debating.

In any case, I followed a history link and it is most certainly gone. That may mean it is truly deleted, or just moved to a staff area where they can see it and we cannot. Pretty rare for that to happen rather than a lock.
