Microchips are under the skin, and the mark is imposed by a false prophet from a false religion. The word MARK by no means implies something under the skin but an IMPRESSION upon it.
Interesting subject. I have spent enough time looking into it to know that its not likely anyone knows what it is. It seems to be a bit more than a pledge and a tattoo. More than a microchip. Whatever it is it is irreversible. Anyone could literally get a knife and cut out ones own chip. Anyone could get a tattoo to cover up the "beast mark". No, this is likely to be something else.
I am thinking its likely to be something to do with high technology that has yet to be released.
My suspicion is that 5G technology will play a part. 5G is in the the microwave zone and is highly interactive with physical objects....possibly even brain waves and mind control.
I have heard this a lot in Revelations and saw some YouTube videos concerning microchips having to do with the mark of the beast. Is this true?
Yes, it could well be a microchip. This would make sense if the second beast is the USA. What alternative is there if it isn't a microchip?
The KJV lets us down again. The word of God reveals...
MARK...
charagma
Genesis 1:1 (KJV)
- a stamp, an imprinted mark
- of the mark stamped on the forehead or the right hand as the badge of the followers of the Antichrist
- the mark branded upon horses
- thing carved, sculpture, graven work
- of idolatrous image.
Vines...
from charasso,
Graven:
from charasso, "to engrave" (akin to charakter, "an impress," RV, marg., of Hbr 1:3), denotes
(a) "a mark" or "stamp," e.g., Rev 13:16,
The interlinear tells it all, the KJV lets us down several ways on verses 15-17. Most people don't pay attention to this but the following does make a big difference. If people would understand just a few things about the word ALL and how it's used they would realize this mark isn't global.
This is how the KJV words it...
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
That is a poor translation because the article is used 6 times in the 'received text' and NOT ONCE in the KJV. Revelation 13 is a great chapter to show people how two different words for ALL, 'pas and holos' are used and how the article affects their meaning.
The word ALL is used in 7-8 different ways and is quite a challenge to understand at times.
Rev, 13:3b And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And ALL the world marveled and followed the beast.
The word ALL in verse 3 is 'holos.' (verse 16 uses the word 'pas.) If John wanted to imply the entire earth/world in verse three, he would have used the word HOLOS, which he did, but would have used the word 'kosmos' to infer the entire planet and NOT the word 'ge' which means...
1093. ge ghay contracted from a primary word; soil; by extension a region, However, I can see how, for example, the world would be amazed if a man who was dead supernaturally came back to life. The way we interpret the word 'holos and ge' in verse 3 are unimportant compared to how we interpret the word ALL 'pas' in verse 16. I wish Christians would just take some time and learn how the word all is used. There's so many Greek and Hebrew words for ALL, and the different ways the word is used WITH other words is important. If people would realize that these books were written as specific as possible for our benefit, and NOT written in English, so it's absolutely imperative that we understand how phrases like 'all the world' etc. are used in the context they are in. V. 16 He causes...
ALL, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,...
That's one poor translation simply because the KJV omitted the word THE ALL 6 times.
All in v.16 is the word ''PAS' and it doesn't imply the entirety of the whole like 'holos' does in verse 3 where it implies ALL of ONE region/ge. 'Pas' is more limited form of 'all' and can accurately be defined as 'individually.' (all of one object) More important is how those two different words change the meaning entirely when used with the article....(difference between global and regional) Worse than that, the KJV again lets us WAY down.
This is almost word for word in the Greek interlinear. In my view the KJV has six mistakes in one verse, so I'm posting the link to the interlinear so you don't think I'm making this up.
And he's making all the small ones and the great ones and the rich ones and the poor and the free and the slaves...

The original text uses the article "the" six times. The English translation of the KJV doesn't use it once. This is where Christians get the idea of globalism, and a one world religion and government.
I've found that when the word 'all' is used without the article it means "every kind or every variety."
Used with the article, it means the whole of ONE object. In the plural it signifies "the totality of the persons or things referred to." It is in the plural and it is used with the article.
And he's making all....AND is a continuation, and its antecedent is the beast/worship, etc.
All of what, 'ONE object' is that? The two horned beast, the mark and his kingdom, and the totality of, "all the small ones and the great ones and the rich ones and the poor and the free and the slaves".... This a mark is limited to the people mentioned and "within the power and influence of this two horned beast." I say is an Islamic Caliphate situated in the region of the Middle-East.
I have heard this a lot in Revelations and saw some YouTube videos concerning microchips having to do with the mark of the beast. Is this true?
Well you are mistaken. The KJV has well over a hundred mistakes in it compared to the oldest text we can access. The KJV IS NOT inspired, the original text is. There are several mistakes in the KJV of the bible because it was translated by fallable men. Another thing....
Studying the Word of God in the English translation is OK most of the time, but to get the true meaning of any passage, we must look at it in the language they spoke it in.
The inspired Word of God....
The word inspired means God breathed or God spoke. When God spoke to His servants the prophets, He spoke to them in the language they also spoke, understood, and wrote, so it's imperative to research the definition of the words in the KJV in the language it was originally written in AND, look at how those same biblical words are used elsewhere in the bible...and accept the definition of those words regardless if it goes against what we already believe.
I have some good Catholic friends that accept the futurist view. It makes no sense to me that the book of Revelation would be a simple message to the early church. The book was written late, even between AD 85-95. God didn't leave us in the dark about the times we call 'the tribulation' and disciples called the "consummation of the age." It makes no sense to me because Revelation is a book that is full of graphic symbolism that would only have a short time to be understood and realized to people if only meant for the early Church. It takes the truth away from us, and deminishes the power and work of the Holy Spirit in the final days of the age.
God's foreknowledge about the final days of the age are meant for our benefit. His power is displayed by His foreknowledge and that leads people to Christ. To say the Revelation was meant for the early Chrurch takes all of that away from us and God.
After reading some things about Nero, I came away thinking that he made (sorry to Godwin the thread, here) Hitler look like Mother Theresa. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Nero was the Beast/AntiChrist figure. But Revelation was even specifically addressed to leaders of specifically named Church tribes that existed then, but no longer exist now. And the beast was Nero (the "number of the beast being the number of a man" were the numbers of Nero's name). It's clearly meant for the past.
I feel like people just hold onto a futurist view because they want it to be a herald of the future. They want it to signify there will be a new heaven and new Earth and that Jesus will come again. Even though all evidence from the Bible writers specifically state that they expected Jesus's coming in their lifetimes, sooner than anticipated, right at the door, one (Paul or Peter, forget which) said it wasn't even good to marry because there'd be no point since Christ's coming was so close.
People project a futurist view of Revelation because it gives them hope.
It's Islam, now?It won't be long and Islam will again authenticate Itself as Babylon the Great, the harlot of Babylon, the religion of the two horned beast, and prophesied evil religion of the last days. How many of you will listen to the signs and see it?
He's probably a better Christian than you and I. How judgmental of you.
You're telling me that the Pope isn't a Christian, and he's very fallible, yet you tell me....
""""Sad you do not believe that God has the power to guide translators to translate His Word into English under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit""""
How is that???
There are several BIG mistakes in every translation of the bible. The NKJV is more accurate. Every translation reflects the bias of the translators.
