They tend to seem reasonable to me, as well. If we came across one that didn't, then I would take the position you are making, i.e. God has God's own reasons that we are not privy to, and we should not expect to be.

Whereas I start off with the basic statement that my choice to obey God is not dependent on my ability to out-think or equal-think his reasons... He IS God and that alone makes His Word obligatory for all His creation. That is "Logical" it is a "reason" that makes sense.

Rom 11
33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! 34 For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who became His counselor?

But the fact that we find His Laws to be "Just and True" (See Rev 15) ... that God is "justified in His Words" Rom 3:4

“That You may be justified in Your words,
And prevail when You are judged.”

Is all the better.
