I'm not on here often but I had a quick question. In addition to worship, prayer, and bible study how do you physically apply god's word to your life?

That's part of the reason I was wondering because death of the soul life seems to be implied not bodily death. Spiritual life is what is gained. The process would be gaining the mind of Christ but at the expense of what is common to mankind. But there is a win/lose involved.Following in the steps of Jesus, Jesus is our example of how we should live and treat others.
1 Peter 2:21
For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.
9 Let love be without hypocrisy.
Abhor what is evil.
Cling to what is good.
10 Be kindly affectionate to one another
with brotherly love, in honor giving
preference to one another;
11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit,
serving the Lord;
12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation,
continuing steadfastly in prayer;
13 distributing to the needs of the saints,
given to hospitality.
14 Bless those who persecute you;
bless and do not curse.
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice,
and weep with those who weep.
16 Be of the same mind toward one another.
Do not set your mind on high things,
but associate with the humble.
Do not be wise in your own opinion.
17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good
in the sight of all men.
18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you,
live peaceably with all men.

Matt 7 - says to hear God's Word and do it -- or else it is of no benefit.
The Bible also has many promises that can be claimed in prayer.
2 Thess 2 reminds us (as does Christ in Matt 24:25-26) that God tells us things in the Bible so that we will not be deceived by the many schemes of Satan.
And the "sola scriptura" method of testing all doctrine and tradition against what the Bible says - keeps us from error.
God's word encourages us to reach out to others, to draw them into a relationship with God. Although I don't do it as often as I probably should, I try to make that one of my goals. I also see Jesus as the God who heals, and so I often reach out to pray for the sick. I also see it as important to not get angry with others and to live peaceably with people, so I try to keep my emotions under control. In addition to this, I do my best to live a pure life, free from uncontrolled desires.I'm not on here often but I had a quick question.
