Has anyone has a loss with the reason being ectopic? Can you explain how they found out that the preganancy was ectopic?

The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I myself have never had an ectopic but my friend has.
She found out she was pregnant then started getting really bad pains in her ovary and pain in her shoulder so the doc sent her for an early scan. They couldnt see the sca or any sign of baby but she had a positive on the test. They checked her tubes and there was the baby growing in the tube. They had to do an emergency op to remove the baby and the tube.
Usually you will know you have an ectopic when your pregnancy test shows positive then negative then positive again.

Hello... I also didnt have an optopic preg.. however my cousin did... i dont think there is any one reason why this happens.. sometimes the egg just dosent leave the tube and the sperm fertilizes the egg unffortunatly it can happen . it just dose im sorry for your loss. xox

That is what happened the pregnancy was ectopic & I had to have the tube removed as well. It has been a slow recovery to say the least. I am praying to get back to "normal". Going out in public is still a littel bit of a task right now as to my energy level has reached its fullest yet. But in due time.
