Anyone want to share some university ("college") advice?

Map out the campus on the first day (before if you have the time), Make sure you know where classes are before the first lesson, and how long it takes to travel too them. A little effort at the begining saves allot of work later on, also if your a terrible fidget who has to keep walking like me its a good way to kill two birds with one stone.

Keep up with your homework, the more you let it slip at the begining the harder it you make it for yourself at the end.

Call home once a week at least especially if your a long distance away. I'm roughly 7000miles from my family and emails are just that bit impersonal.

Also, chat to your profs at the begining of every term atleast, don't be the last to class and the first to leave. A good impression and high level of communication is very worth while.

Academically-Stay on top of all the reading. You can easily fall behind if you don't stick with what the teacher assigns.

Socially- get involved. The social aspect of college is very important to the full aspect of the college experience. Go to the sporting events, parties, get involved with the Christian Ministries they have on campus. I was involved in Catholic Ministries at Clemson.
