I was wanting to know from those of you who may be smart what would happen in formaldehyde is injected into a human being? What about mercury, or maybe antifreeze? What kinds of effects could the person injected with such chemicals have?

Anyway: it all depends on concentrations. Everything is harmless in low enough quantities (I can't think of a single substance that's deadly when there's just 1 molecule of it..), and everything is deadly in high enough quantities (people have died from water-drinking contests).

If it is about vaccines, then you don't find mercury in them. Also I'm sure they do not have anti-freeze in them but have one of the components of anti-freeze, like tooth paste if I recall.

You shouldn't ingest the entire contents of a thermometer, no. But everyone has still ingested and stored/excreted an enormous number of mercury atoms, without dying =)

Technically, you are not asking someone who is "smart", but someone who is knowledgeable about toxicology/physiology.

Besides Thiomersal is not the same as elemental Mercury. Saying that vaccines are bad for you because of the mercury found in thiomersal would be like saying table salt is deadly because it contains sodium and chlorine. Besides it's the dose that makes the poison.

This whole vaccine thing just boggles the mind.

I don't care what's in vaccines. An argument that goes "vaccines have X, and X is bad for you, therefore vaccines are bad for you" falls on its face in consideration of the fact that the vast, vast, vast majority of vaccinated people exhibit zero after-effects.

If vaccines were really that bad, you would expect to see some results. Yet, to my knowledge, no zombie attacks yet.

It is destructive and dangerous to start thinking like this. We have pretty much eliminated smallpox, we're smacking Strep. pneumoniae badly... so many diseases have had their asses handed to them thanks to vaccinations and people are still questioning. I don't mean just questioning the contents people are still questioning the mechanism of immunisation that goes along with vaccines. They're questioning immunological memory in the face of a global demonstration of efficacy stretching back so very far in our history.

You know what, keep questioning. Don't vaccinate your kids. The last thing we need is to have vaccine conspiracy theorist crazies reproducing successfully anyway.

Except it doesn't work that way, people who have been vaccinated end up in danger if not enough are vaccinated, as herd imunity is gone, and it gets to mutate further.

Antifreeze is one of several chemicals so you would need to narrow it down.

Are there guilty consciences about putting these things into your kids bodies?


Personally, I will not vaccinate my child because of the severe and life threatening adverse reactions to the vaccinations that my son had. Nobody or noone can convince me to do so after seeing my child almost die at birth and then see him almost be killed by lethal injection when the stupid doc assured me that vaccines are perfectly safe and my son had an anaphylactic reaction to them that very night. Come to find out that my sons immune system was not up to it and could not handle them. Further bloodwork confirmed that he should not have had those shots. Even the most recent blood work says that he is not to be vaccinated because of his immune system problems. So that is just my experience. I hate them, but am not going to condemn anyone else who wants to kill their kids. That is their business.

But, smarty pants, the reason I am asking is because I have a little cousin that drank antifreeze. You know, the blue stuff? Then my Husband tried to take out one of those energy saving light bulbs that says they contain mercury on the box, how tru that is, I don't know, and it broke and cut him and I didn't know if any of that got in his system through his cut. Then I am doing and essay about the difference of cremation and earth burial and I was also doing some studying on embalming and I was wandering what would happen if one of the embalmers accidently got stuck with the needle and some of the formaldehyde solution got into the blood stream. Are you all happy about my reasoning now?

Immunizations are a very touch subject and my son can't have them due to medical reasons, so I don't have to worry about that with him cause the doc's have said for him not to have them due to the special needs that he has.

I just thought that a cut would be a lot like an injection, and so would and accidental needle stick, and instead of expalining all this(which I had to do anyway) I just summed it all up and called it an injection.
