I am so blessed to have lost 45 pounds now and my body is showing its appreciation...although this is not the end of my journey...I have more to loose and I am confident.
My diet is not "a way of life" it has given me life. I am happy and satisfied. That is my miracle!
Clothing shopping has been rewarding to try on clothes three sizes smaller and be surprised whenthey fit. You can imagine how bagy the old pants were getting...well I just stopped wear most of the clothes in my closet and had to resort to my jogger pants. It was sweet to buy some new things.
I have changed the way I eat. Sometimes, like for a day, I fast only if I'm not hungry, tho Then on other days I eat about half of what I was eating before. I've lost 25 pounds so far. I have more to go.
I really think my problem is that I am not active enough. I spend a lot of time reading for my university course. Before we moved to our present house I was able to walk into town and to the shops and be quite independent, now I have to take the bus or go by car. I really need to work hard on the exercise to rediscover my waistline LOLDiets are hard, but the best thing to do is to find foods you like, that are healthful, like apples and the like. Excersizing every day is a very good idea. I do a mile walk every morning and pilates weekday afternoons. The most helpful resource I have used is http://www.sparkpeople.com/If you don't have time to find the right foods, they make a plan just for you and you can edit it and stuff. It's really great
