no thats all my design. i took a couple ideas from an official kit. and yes it does go pretty fast. if it picked up speed and hit a wall, it could cause itself a good amount of damage. it was pretty hard figuring out how to to put the panels on the outside, especially the panels in fromt of the rear tires. either they were flat, or at about a 45 degree angle, and i needed them to be right between the two. the hardest pard though were the doors. since my car didnt have a roof, i had to make them pivot up and rotate outward all in one smooth motion. and it is a lot of fun when i make something work the way i want without using to many parts. its really satisfying.Stellar Vision said:Wow that's nice. I personally haven't built any of the larger technic models, though I think it would be a ton of fun to try. I do have a Formula 1 Racer set I put together that's made in a model team style (don't know if it's still called that), but it does have some functionality in the steering. I definitely had a good time building that one.
