Anyone know how to use Unetbootin and run Mint from a flash drive?

I successfully downloaded and installed it, but upon booting, Mint gives me a screen of texts asking for commands.

Can someone explain how the process should work, and what I should see upon booting?

Instructions: pendrivelinux dot com/run-linux-mint-9-from-a-usb-flash-drive/

Basically, download universal USB installer, select your version of Linux Mint, format and install to USB.
