Philly Burbs here. Although, during "shore season" we co-habitate in Ocean City too.

Yup just like everybody else who comes around the rest of the states around Jersey lol. You guys make it horrible for us Jerseians to have some fun at the shore lol. :D ;)

no no, Philly Burbs in South Jersey. We are in Eastern Camden County, but we stay in OC a lot because all of my hubby's family lives there. Actually, they own the amusement piers, waterpark, and some other stuff, so it is defintely OURS to enjoy! LOL!

I assume you mean the Cherry Hill area then?

Anyway...I'm from Monmouth: Where the the grass is greener than the bribes our local government takes.

Ah yes... God bless Monmouth County. :D

Speaking of Jersey in general... hasn't anybody heard about how the governor (whom we didn't have a chance to vote in) is trying to raise our gas prices as much as $.30!!! It's a new tax he wants to sign in and they're going to try to sign it into law soon. I first heard $.14 but now it's up to $.30 (heard that amount on NJ 101.5 FM radio station).  Gas prices are already WAY too high... Idk how people are going to be able to add another $.30 to that.

Essex County! Gotta love Turtle Back Zoo, South Mountain and Eagle Rock(beautiful 9/11 memorial)
Started out in Bayonne and moved here 22 years ago.
Anyone else from Essex?

OH! I just took my kids to Turtle Back Zoo a month ago. I hadn't been there since my own parents took me when I was a kid. Remember when you could actually sit in the turtle's back?

I live in Trenton, New Jersey, next door to the Sovereign Bank Arena, and not far from the Trenton Makes, The World Takes bridge.

Speaking of making and taking, was Trenton once a center for industry in the US? I do see many abandoned industrial plants throughout the city, although some have been demolished and rebuilt into more useful structures (such as the Arena).

I also hear that a cinema special effects studio could be built opposite the Arena across Rt. 125 (?) and the River Line tracks! Maybe Trenton will become `Tollywood' (as opposed to Bollywood and Hollywood ;) )?
