spaghnum moss.
vinegar

Keep urine and feces separate, use moss for feces, vinegar for urine. Cuts smell and breaks down components.

I think of the castles in Scotland like caves, dank, moldy and full of spiders. lol

Good info. I could handle the spiders as they don't scare me, But if it was a snake forget it. lol

I used to spelunk.

Now,. with snakes you have to look them in the eyes...literally... if it's round, they are not poisonous, if it's a cat's eye, watch out! (Except for one... the coral snake...but it's orange color warns ya (yet there is an orange snake that isn't poisonous those sneaky fellas)). Best have a good light.

Yes we have copperheads and rattlesnakes and cottonmouths so we are {blessed} cough, cough..
You see I don't want to be close enough to tell, although I usually find myself to close.
Two years ago I was walking along my property picking up morel mushrooms and I saw a large one sticking up [I thought] So I walked over to get it and it turned out to be a big ole rattler's head I was seeing, It was coiled up looking at me.

I saw another for 281 acres with cave, only $98 k sold though. They have to be there. Imagine that acreage!
I cannot imagine that cheap? It must have been steep as a cows face..

No I think it had a small house and cattle too... grazing cattle need flat land somewhat? and a stream? I'm hoping I get into the mood to buy something.. .but I have 2 years after selling house to reinvest the money..
That sounds like the bargain of a lifetime at that price. Especially with water.
The cheapest I have ever bought was 500 an acre and that is very rare. Most around here is 2000 an acre and up

I might move back to MO.
In my travels (mainly straight out to AZ and back, and NC and back) I look at property as I drive by. Upon returning from Ft Rucker area, I ended up going into GA (missed turnoff) and lots of back roads but looking at land was fun...

I don't care for tornadoes but if I can get the van into a cave or in ground "garage" I'd be fine.

I had planned, perhaps next fall or summer, to come up to MO... to visit old boy scout stomping grounds...and see who's still alive and in the district?
