  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Album: More to This Life

Somewhere on the edge of the truthLooking out at the viewOf all you used to believeFrom where you areYou can see you're far away from homeEchoes of the life you once knewCall out to you from across the divideAnd you know it's timeTo step back over the lineBut you're...Waiting for lighteningA sign that it's time for a changeYou're listening for thunderWhile He quietly whispers your nameNight falls and the curtain goes downNo one's around, it's just you and the truthAs you lie and waitFor a feeling to take you by stormSomewhere in the depths of your heartWhere it's empty and darkThere's a flicker of lightAnd the Spirit callsBut do you know notice at all?Or are you...(chorus)But the sign and the wordHave already been givenAnd now it's by faithThat we must look, and we must listenInstead of...(chorus)He whispers your nameDon't wait, don't wait
