Anybody else really dislike this new format?

OK for reasons I don't even know yet, I think I'll grow to like this format. lol. I put it in Dark Mode too and it looks kind of cool that way. There is a busy-ness about the home page though, but the more I look at the modules, they aren't that difficult to learn. At its basic level, there isn't as much of a difference in the overall layout as it seems at first - it's just annoying to acclimate to. I like the new font when we are writing posts - it looks neater.

Edited to add something important: In our Preferences section we can change how we want our home feed to look. If we change it to simply "Forum List," WOW, it looks like the old version almost. There are definitely ways to "trim the fat" when we're looking at CF. Keep your chins up people, there's a way around this.

I also don't get this "cascading leaves" and Pilgrim hats deal. The leaves are irritating, and if I want silly hats on my avatar, I'll put them there myself, thank you very much.
No kidding me too.

I disabled it too, because I couldn't deal with the leaves always falling. I may check in a couple weeks to see what the Christmas version looks like (it will probably be snowfall) but I'll probably disable that too.

The "falling leaves" feature:
could that become an unintentional trigger to cause seizures in those users who are sensitive?
Has anyone checked?
Why would this cause seizures?

I think because sometimes quickly moving objects such as flashing lights, can cause sensitive people who are epileptic to have seizures.

I like the leaves falling, and I like the hats on us, I think they are cute and cause a festive feeling, but that is just my opinion, I wonder what they will do for Christmas.

Why would this cause seizures?
Some people, if they have a disorder such as epilepsy, could be triggered by the animation; if they aren't expecting it, their brain won't be able to process it and they'll freeze.
