  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Any Zero-Gravity Games out there?

Does anybody know of any first person 3d games played in zero gravity? For example maybe the players and bad-guys are all in a large 3d maze inside a large space ship. Zero gravity would be cool - totally different physics to it. Instead of a control to move forward or backward, you just have a thrust control - it will accelerate or decelerate you in a direction - but if you do nothing you just keep coasting through the room. There could all sorts of stuff floating in space, many ways to propel people around. It would be like flying as well.

Has anybody seen a zero-gravity game out there?

well there are some older games like colony wars and a few star wars games where you pilot space ships and such...

i know halo has somewhat of a diminished gravity feel.

and most online multiplayer games like counter-strike, unreal tournament, and quake have options to lower the gravity. though you might find the latter 3 games offensive depending on your views on violent videogames.
