any supernatural experiences?

I've been struggling with knowing whether or not the supernatural exists. The Bible speaks of demons. Please anybody and everybody post any and/or all supernatural occurrences or beings you think you've witnessed. I'm curious.

A person being born again - coming to true faith in Jesus Christ by the work of the Holy Spirit - is a spiritual experience. Is a believer supposed to be able to feel the Holy Spirit?

That is the type of experience you should be learning more about to grow in your Christian faith.

I grew up basically beleiving hte gifts were not for today, but then I started having prophetic dreams and I knew there was more to it... below I have a link to my youtube channel, but I have not recorded some of the more powerful prophetic dreams that were fulfilled. I do believe that stuff is out there, although I am not one of those the devil is behind everything people, I do believe this stuff happens although it is rare in our society, mostly I think because the strategy of demonic powers in the western world has been to convince the world they do not exist. That would also explain why missionaries in third world cultures that believe in that sort of think experience much more of it.

I have had what I can only describe as a haunting experience in my friends apartment. Weird things happened there. For instance one day we started playing our guitars and 10 seconds later the tv turned itself off. The oven also turned itself off one or twice when our meals were done. The coffee machine cleaned itself in the sink, we heard footsteps often coming up to his apartment, but his apartment was above a mechanical garage in the middle of no where on an almost dirt road. the nearest house was a quarter mile away. The dog refused to come upstairs, I had something tickle my throat in the middle of the night while sleeping over and it woke me up and his cleaning lady who was his friend heard a little girl screaming a few times. Not sure what to make of all of that but it was weird.

My former pastor who I though was a cessasionist or near cessasionist (gifts have ceased) had to go out on quite a few weird midnight calls for demonic stuff. The closer I get to pastors and leaders in several churches the more I have been surprised just how much stuff is actually out there

you caught me. you're probably right, but I'm daily growing an obsession with knowing about occult experiences. If demons are real, which they are, then shouldn't there be some really supernatural experiences out there?

I agree this spiritual stuff can be an obsession and a distraction, but I think it is foolish to turn a blind eye towards it all as well

There is plenty of supernatural stuff out there, but there is also plenty of fake stuff out there. It is easy to get scared and psyche yourself out if you have a mindset in which you are looking for things that go bump in the night.

In addition, there are plenty of things out there that are part of the natural world that we neither know about nor understand. Mistaking natural things for supernatural is possible.

Plenty of people who have had supernatural experiences have wished they haven't, so don't be too upset if you haven't gotten your fill of it. Once you know a thing, you can never un-know it.

In all things, trust in God. Whether natural or supernatural, he is in control.

And yes, I've had some experiences. My opinion is that a lot of pastors who think they are mighty spiritual warriors would soil their britches if they came face to face with a real demon.

Here is a tremendous account of a wholes series of supernatural incidents which happened to a young Kiwi atheist, scuba fishing off the coast of Mauritius, including a medical miracle (he was stoned by the villagers, because they thought he must have been a ghost - having already terrified the medical staff in the morgue!), finally a face to almost face with God.

He was bitten by 5 deadly 'box jellyfish', and it all started to happen when a vision of his mother appeared to him, while he was on his way to the hospital, in the ambulance, telling him he must pray to God from his heart to forgive him for his sinful life. Fascinating stuff, and all the more compelling because he was clearly a tearaway, a mad extrovert. And he has a great sense of humour.

His joy as he's recalling Jesus' talk with him and quoting from the Bible to him, giving him chapter and verse, is something to see! Arms waving, like me, more like a latin than a sober Brit type. I hope if he ever reads this, It won't make him self-conscious about it, because he's obviously a whole-hearted type of person, and it evidently comes closer to doing justice to the absolute joy and wonder he experiences, under the extraordinarily uplifting influence of the Holy Spirit, even just reminiscing in his witness, about his talk with Jesus.
