Unsure if you are an atheist based on scientific laws but the main difference between a Christian and an atheist would rest in the premise of matter as being created or not. Science,I believe, still says it is neither created nor destroyed while a Christian would say it is created. Afterwards, the basics of science should concur. You may not believe in God but a Christian does. Both perspectives require an act of faith; I will put my faith in God. Thank you and God bless.

Interesting name. I'm glad you're here, but by the subject of your post it sounds like you should call yourself “Atheistheretoteach” instead.

I agree with dvd_holc. I’m sorry, but you are in the wrong forum. I hope, at any rate, that you are objective in your studies. I'm sorry to say that there are far too many atheists (and Christians!) who only read their own publications, only read articles on their own websites, etc., and never really read the other side.

I trust that you have studied questions about the Bible and Christianity from reputable Christian sources and not just from any number of militant atheist websites full of articles written by people with no clue about what they are even criticizing. If you are being objective, I applaud you!

I can’t tell you how many non-tracts and atheist books I’ve read that are down right laughable, probably foremost among them the ‘classic’ by George H. Smith “Atheism: The Case Against God”, or a close second “The God Part of the Brain” by Matthew Alper.

Please let me be the first to say I’m even more frustrated at Christians who are just as biased and laughable in their responses to those who reject Christianity.

I encourage an honest search for truth together!

The concept of atheism is fairly straightforward, so no, I have no questions for you regarding that. Perhaps you have questions for Christians though, other than asking if we have questions for you.

Not to be a pain, but *cough* technically only Christians are supposed to be answering questions here.

But I think this is a fine exception.
