The Earth Does Not Move

• 1 Chronicles 16:30: "Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved."
• Psalm 93:1 "The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is established, that it cannot be moved."
• Psalm 96:10: "Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously...."

The Sun Moves

• Joshua 10:13 So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on its enemies, as it is written in the Book of Jashar. The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day.
• Isaiah 38:8 I will make the shadow cast by the sun go back the ten steps it has gone down on the stairway of Ahaz.' " So the sunlight went back the ten steps it had gone down.
• Habakkuk 3:11 Sun and moon stood still in the heavens at the glint of your flying arrows, at the lightning of your flashing spear.

Earth is Independent

• Job 26:7 He spreads out the northern skies over empty space; he suspends the earth over nothing.

Also, there are many many other verses which speak about the sun going around the earth...

Hm. Well. I'm sure I'm not smart enough to figure it out. And those scriptures have been perfectly fine before now. I don't see the need to re-interpret them.
