Chess etiquette
Avoid offering a draw twice.
Avoid offering a draw to a much higher rated player.
Avoid offering a draw while awaiting the other player's move.

....however :)

You've been a very courteous and friendly opponent Carl. And I think you've been pulling your punches a bit, going easy on me.
I saw your games on chess.com and you're very strong. 1400+
I would happily conclude the game here with a friendly 'draw' by mutual agreement.

Yes It has been fun - Maybe someone else watching might like to have a game.

Chess has been great to keep my mind oiled.

I don't usually play Queen side but I think it has real possibilities.

Thanks for being patient with me.

That game took 24 days !!

Have you got a chess clock Carl?
I inherited a nice one from my Lithuanian father-in-law.

I've had more than a few undeserved wins where my opponent's position/material was well ahead of mine. But they had run their clock down and started succumbing to panic blindness, while I had the advantage of playing simple and quick but cautious moves.

Maybe someone else watching might like to have a game.

Yes. @jacks was a spectator who might want to play next. Maybe a dedicated separate/new thread?

I have a old chess set somewhere. How do you teach beginners?

Think of the two rolls going left to right in the middle as being a reiver. The four squares in the center being a bridge. The early game consists on aiming everything at the bridge. Middle game is taking the bridge.
End game is taking the king.
