If it's the episode I think you're both talking about, I believe it will be shown in the US this Friday. I hate how the N shows bits of the season at a time and how they decided to wait two weeks after the 2nd episode of their "season premiere" to show a new episode. People in the US know what I'm talking about.

I love Degrassi. My older sister had watched the original Degrassi with my mom, and now my mom watches the new Degrassi with me. The show really touches on important issues teenagers truely deal with, along with the aftermath of every choice they make. It helps a teen understand that not just them alone have feelings like that, they are shared with many others who are just as afraid to admit it out loud and recieve help.

Like the most recent episode (shown in the US) when Ellie & Manny find out about Craig doing Cocaine, it was powerful. Showing how someone became so addicated then was lying to get what he wanted, a true addict there.

I've excited to see what happens this Friday. The way it sounds someone's gonna be hurt/dead :(

That was so sad. I was surprised it was JT. I thought maybe they'd kill of Toby, since he's not in the credits anymore. I was hoping they'd just kill of Jay. Did anyone see the behind the scenes footage of Ryan Cooley's (JT) last's day? The N showed it right after the episode ended.

It was so sad! I wish it wasn't JT, I had always loved him from day one! Yea I saw Ryan's last day off the N website, it was so sad watching him say his goodbyes.

I feel so horrible for Liberty. Watching the video of JT playing with Mia's daughter really hit her. Knowing that she had JT's child, and that could have been their son he was playing with, or that if she had kept their son, he may still be alive. It will be interesting to see how the handle her storyline now.

Any thoughts on the new season? I'm not sure how I feel about season 8. Yes, the storylines were good, but it seemed like Degrassi: The Next Next Generation with the new cast of freshmen. So I don't know if the show is jumping the shark. It's also weird that Manny, Emma, and Liberty are the only characters remaining from the original cast. And I can already see that storylines from previous seasons are being recycled. Share your thoughts!

I was a big fan of the original series. I've seen most of TNG up to 2005, but that's about it.

I particularly liked Wheels (played by Neil Hope). Some of you might recall the Jonovision special (in 1999, I believe) where several of the original cast appeared. There was a bit of controversy about where Neil was and why it appeared he wanted nothing to do with the series anymore--and there were a lot of "Where's Wheels?"-type posts on fansites around that time.

Wikipedia says he appeared on 3 epis of TNG in 2001-2003. I don't believe I caught those shows, but I very much would like to see them.
