I just come off a YEC forum, where a load of guys have been chucked off this forum for holding Creationist views (their words, not mine!) so I was wondering how many creationists are actually left here?

And at the end of the day, we are all still Christians (and come back for more). Amazing, isn' it.TwinCrier said:Many have left because the moderation in this forum seems skewed. Not to making any comment about any moderator myself, but as the YEC moderators on this forum rarely post, it does APPEAR that way.
In general, TE's think YEC's are uneducated, reasoning that IF YEC's were smarter, they would accept evolution.
In general, YEC's think TE's are unspiritual, reasoning that IF TE's were more spiritual, they would accept biblical creation.
Both sides feel the other side has not looked objectively at the evidence for the other side. In this, I think both sides are right.

What link?Micaiah said:Sad that these people left. Have to say I'm not surprised. Give us the other link.
I'm a firm YEC'ist also, ever since reading "Did God Create in Six Days?" edited by J. Pipa, Jr. and D.W. Hall.California Tim said:I'm a firm YEC'ist. I cannot recall who quoted this, but it's one I love:

For one thing, in Genesis it says that he created all living things according to their kind, and in addition it says "So God Created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them" (Genesis 1:27). It doesn't say that He created something to evolve into His own image. =)

I think it actually makes more sense than evolution.

2Timothy2 said:I'm a creationist, I just don't frequent this area of CF all that much. I stand firm in my belief, conviction, understanding, and knowledge the evolution did not, does not, will not, and can not occur. God created the Heavens and the Earth, and I believe the Bible shows He did the several billions of years ago, without a gap between Gen. 1:1 and 1:2. I actually get pushed out of here, figuratively speaking, because I am neither YEC nor TE.![]()
