A lot of atheists don't recognize that, so everything they "don't know" they blame on God for why they don't have faith.

I take care of my 95 year old grandparents who are atheists. They don't believe in God and therefore blame nothing on "Him".

Perhaps you are speaking of an agnostic or something?

Well... you can't fit all atheists/agnostics in a box. But many of them blame God and don't even know it. I'm not saying your grandparents are like that, though that's unfortunate they haven't found God so late in life.

Just the ones who claim they know who God is better than He does. And they have really know reason to think that, if they realize God is a higher power and knows more than we do. That's part of surrender. That's part of faith.

Atheism literally just means not having faith. There are many things I don't know, for example I don't think anyone could know what happens after death, so I become wary when someone tries to promise paradise. I simply do not believe in things that don't seem logical or possible with the knowledge that we have, that is all. So I blame nothing on God, I think human beings are responsible for their own actions, such as writing the Bible and then choosing to have faith in it. I see no reason to think the Bible is any more factual than the Koran, voodoo, witchcraft, psychics or alien abductions.
