"Should" implies god is subject to an external imperative. Do you really want to go there?

There is no external imperative for God. In that case, what does "should" mean?
Why should God love me? The force of "should" is not on God, but is on me. You may read it as: why should I be loved by God? There MUST BE a reason for God to love me. God is love is not a good enough reason.

So why do you complain about Christianity being made a cult?
I'll bite. I don't consider Christianity (or Islam, or Judaism, or Buddhism, etc.) a cult because it doesn't fit the definition of one. Here's the definition from Merriam-Webster:

: a small religious group that is not part of a larger and more accepted religion and that has beliefs regarded by many people as extreme or dangerous
: a situation in which people admire and care about something or someone very much or too much
: a small group of very devoted supporters or fans

By that definition both fundamental Christianity and Islam would be considered cults. I don't know enough about either Judaism or Buddhism to judge those two. It looks like juvenissum was correct in admitting that he was in effect a member of a cult.

Wow Juvie this is really frightening. You don't know why your own faith is not a cult?

Do you feel like you are subject to thought control? Do they control your money, your ability to move around, socialise with whoever you want?

I control myself. I am not controlled by the question given by that subducted guy.
If you asked the same question, the answer would be different.

Juvie does not like me because he cannot answer my questions.

That's okay. As long as he admits it.

It doesn't. Something only "should" if there is an external imperative.

OK, you are not understanding. But, logically, you win.

Rephrase the question: Why should I be loved by God?
We can not answer this question unless we go back to Genesis 1, 2.

You haven't changed the question, you've just rearranged the word order. The question is still meaningless (unless god is subject to an external imperative).

Why should I be loved by God?

The external imperative is on me, not on God. God loves me. But I want to know the reason.

You are not logic enough this time.

It's like saying "why should I be a human". It doesn't make any sense.

I suspect you at trying to formulate a question to fit a particular "answer", but unfortunately your questions are so far non-sensical m

Absolutely not. This question was with me for decades and I could not give myself a satisfactory answer until a few years ago. If you can't answer, that is fine. But it is a very common and good question.

How do you answer it if it is asked by a desperate sinner who is seeking God?

I'd start by trying to find out what question they are really trying to ask? Or I'd reframe the conversation completely, since most such questions are premised on misunderstanding anyway - directly answering the wrong question isn't helpful.

The question is: I do not deserve the love of God. Why does He love me?
How do you respond?

From that it looks like your question is really the negative one - why doesn't god not love me. Which, unlike the positive one is semi-answerable. To which an answer is "because his love is unconditional". But 'twould be much better to reframe the whole thing by sidestepping the question and telling a story.

Instead of fishing, come out with what theological idea you think is dependent on a factual reading of the early chapters of Genesis.

So, God loves a dog the same way as He loves me? Am I the same as a dog in His eyes?

Try to answer me without touching the Genesis.

god loves all his creation, but obviously not all in the same way. But you didn't ask a question about that.

Try to answer me without touching the Genesis.
Why should i not touch on Genesis? Given your new question being made in the image of god is relevant.
