jolly, i think you're very good at drawing, amazing! though i miss this experimental style.. like the drawings look a bit too "accurate" if you know what i mean? maybe its the lack of contrast? also, doesnt the huge signature bother you? like when you take the whole piece and look at it.. its taking over a part of the composition. keep it up though!

Thankyou Buddy, You think it looks too Accurate? lol you know what? I 've given a break to my drawing of portraits because i think THEY ARE not as accurate as i want them to be, i have to work on in a certain areas to make em look even real. so i am practising that now my next drawing will be even more accurate. Why i want them to look so real is because i draw portraits and most people like thier pictures to be realistic. But i understand what you are saying.. Artistic look is missing.. that what you mean right? when i draw people from Real life, i add up the artistic look and they dont look as accurate as these. these are drawn from photographs with a grid for accuracy. and Yes i do agree with you.. my Signature DOES look too big. i am actually thinking of making it small and different. make it look more official. you know. thanx for the ideas ! i really apriciate that. will let u know when i draw my next pic with my new signature

your website is very functional, i like that.
also i think the cover with "what is God been up to?" and the "mailbox" website are quite good. theyre dfferent compared to the rest of your work.. keep it up!

I too am an artist. I mainly do landscapres in oils. I haven't any of them posted anywhere except on my poetry site and my weight loss forum but I will try and get them on the web somewhere this week and post you a link.

You're right though, it depends on what you want. Most people that don't know a lot of art want their drawn portraits to look as realistic as it can be. Personally thats not something that amazes me.... but its just a matter of style i guess.... anyway, keep it up!

Yep, You see.. those pics were drawn for people who loved it, they were not drawn to amaze you.. But if i am to draw you something i will draw it the way you'd like :o) TY :wave:

I guess I could call myself an artist. I paint...mostly acrylic, but I also do watercolor. I have everything to do oils, just haven't gotten the time to attempt that. I have a corner of paints waiting on the end of the semester!
