well im not really an artist....i just doodle sometimes...my art usually ends up being not so great but thats ok

I started painting about 4 years ago, I mainly use watercolours or acrylics.

My favourite subjects are old buildings and we have plenty here in the uk.
I also did some cards and small pictures with scripture verses on and set up a little business for a while, they went really well

Hi All,

By the grace of God, I am a professional artist & I love what I have seen here. I believe that we are all creative beings BECAUSE God is creative (In the beginning He created....) & He created us (mankind) in His image. I tell my art classes that it's like being a Christian, if you don't read the Bible then you are going to die spiritually, but if you read your Bible then from you rivers of living water will flow! It's the same with us excercising our creativity, we can ignore it, never stimulating it & it will eventually almost completley die out or we can feed it by practicing, viewing other artworks and taking classes to improve. Keep on creating everybody. I pray that it will all glorify God!

I learned how to draw them when I dedicated a whole semester of my senior (art school) drawing class to drawing hands & feet, primarily my own....cause they were always with me. Practice, practice, practice & you will eventually get it. It's normal for people to have a hard time doing them, artists pretty much agree that they are the hardest.....you can accomplish drawing them....just practice, practice, practice. I used mirrors too so that I would draw my feet and hands & their reflection. That helped too. Start with drawing the large shapes & forms. Don't get overwhelmed by all the detail. Once you accomplish the larger shapes, then you can add detail. I encourage you to go for it & know you can do it!

I'm a digital painter, but I'm still too new. I don't know if you'll like my stuff, but it's very dualistic. But I'll describe them while I'm at it: I have a series of digital paintings called "Demi" from the fact that it is an illustration of a polar entity with both evil and holy sides; it's literally split down the middle. It used to be a polarity that wielded two pens, then my later series went on to being more like a demon/angel polarity. My latest drawing is of a demon looking into a mirror at his reflection, which is an angel. But I drew it from the perspective that it could be an angel looking into a reflection of a demon.

Hi, since you guys are looking for artists I thought I might change the format a little. My name is jack and I have been selected as a finalist in the Amazon Tribeca short Film competition. I was writing to let you know that I have created a movie which I intended to lift the spirit of all Christians. I was hoping to spread the word so that all Christians can vie my film and vote on it as they please. My Film represents the light of the lord (Mr. Candle) who does battle with the Devil in a game of ping pong to save the Soul of a little girl. At first tempted by riches as the Devil offers him his golden paddle as the prize, Mr. Candle soon realizes in his darkest hour that saving this little girls soul, even at the risk of sacrificing himself, is more important than any wealth. It is a short film I am truly proud of, and ask all fellow Christians to help spread the word and vote 5 stars for my movie. Entitled "Duel at Red Table", I hope to spread the true meaning of goodness and courage to the rest of the world.
