yeah which mod did you use? I've got an old Galaxy Ace which I want to mod and was planning on using whatever Cyanogenmod was available

Ah, so I didn't put cyanogenmod on it yet because it hasn't been completed yet for my phone. I did root it though, which lets me put cyanogenmod on it (among lots of other things, like removing stock apps) when it comes out.

My Galaxy S3 was rooted until I got the OTA update to KitKat back in the fall. It took a little while for the dev community to figure out how to root with the update, but I think it's possible now, I just haven't done it.

I ran Cyanogen on an HTC phone for about three years and really liked it. Rooting an HTC phone is a lot more straightforward than Samsung, it seems.

I have an android based Moto X cellphone, and a android based Samsung Galaxy Note 10 (2014 edition) tablet.

Although I love my Macbook Pro with Retina <3, I will admit I do prefer android OS for phones over Apples OS for phones.

Currently on a Moto G (2nd Gen) which is an incredible and cheap upgrade from my previous Samsung Duos. Still anticipating the Android L for it
