Hey everyone i just wanted to ask for prayer out there beacause of an earlier thing that happened to me. About 2 months ago i overdosed on cocaine and ever since then all i get are these panic attacks and i think that everytime i feel weird im gonna die. Whether it be my hands fallin asleep or my ears getting the ringin noise or my chest hurting all the time. People tell me its anxiety and i always fear the worst. I am a 20 yr old man from Kimberly, WI i attend "The River" church ...I just need prayer and want to hear if anyone else ever has had something like this thanks.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have been reading a book by David Jeremiah called "Slaying the Goliaths in Your Life." This book explicitly covers fear, loneliness, anxiety/worry, anger etc...I recommend going to the book store and buying a copy. It is helping me to understand Scripture and to ease my broken heart. I pray that your addiction be broken and that your walk in the spirit will be increased far beyond your walk in the flesh.

Heavenly Father, I pray for jthorne and the anxiety attacks he's facing. Give him the strength & resources he needs to overcome the addictions he has. We know that You will be with him in this difficult time. Let him see the friends You've given him who will stand by his side.

Thankyou for all your prayers everyone..i just would like to say that i have gotten over my addiction it happened the day i went into the E.R for my O.D 2 months ago. I have given up all those friends and people that had to do with drugs it wasnt easy but God got me through it and I thank him everyday for what he has done in my life. But ever since then ive had these panic attacks which completly destroy me. I thank GOD for letting me O.D because it opened my eyes to being thankful for my 15 yr old brother i never hung out with and a mom and dad and a sister i would never talk to. Now i help my brother out with high school wrestling and talk to my mom alot more and my sister. And im going to be prayed for by a man named Bernard hes a prophet who travels the world also we were just visited by Jeff Jensen and his wife. I believe in Gods word and i hope this is lifted off of me but thanks for all the prayers everyone it means alot.
